I have just had three months building and home improvement work completed by Silver Fern. I chose them firstly through a local friend’s recommendation and on meeting Matt, I liked his personality, friendliness, honesty, willingness, and knowledge. The work went brilliantly, and the team worked incredibly hard to complete by Christmas as promised. 

All my changes and additions were accommodated. Everything was transparent – I received work and payment schedules and clear itemised costs. I was given a fantastic project manager who kept me informed of the work progress, including photos, as I was not present most of the time. I was given personal time from the project co-ordinator when choosing my new kitchen and flooring – advice and support throughout. The standard of work is superb. All the staff are very helpful, friendly, trustworthy, courteous, and respectful. Everywhere was left immaculately clean and tidy. I would absolutely recommend Silverfern to everyone – I just hope that they are available when I want them to do more work for me!

I have worked with Silver Fern on a number of my projects and they always produce high quality work with a very good quality of finish. They work well with my clients and they are among the tidiest building contractors I have worked over the years. They are proactive in resolving any issues that arise on site and problems are quickly addressed. In terms of pricing there is a lot of value added and “you get what you pay for…” with Silver Fern. I would love to do more work with Silver Fern.

I most certainly do recommend Silver Fern to all of my clients. They are one of my “Go To” firms of builders who I try to involve in all of my projects. It is just a shame that I have not had a chance to work with them even more than I have. I would not hesitate to work with them again given the chance.

After Covid our requirement for a home office became urgent, Silver Fern Developments were outstanding in creating our dream home office with a bright functional garage conversion. Together Matt and Al created a dreamy attractive workspace, advice and step by step schedules of work gave me complete confidence throughout the build. Work was carried out to a timely schedule and one thing I particularly liked with Silver Fern was that the site was tidied up every evening leaving no tools or dangerous hazards about and with having 2 small children this gave great peace of mind.

Communication was clear, and updates were received via email as well as the preferred option, whatsapp. I was given a payment schedule, it was very clear and if anything changed Matt would present options to me before continuing. The team was so friendly, so much so that I missed them when they left!
